Linda Huntzinger Calhoun relished a childhood of wandering the high desert hills, sandy washes and cliffs of Northern New Mexico with her horse and dog, finding arrowheads and ancient pottery shards and admiring the clouds in the blue, blue sky. And when she was ten, riding around the County Fairgrounds on the neck of an elephant named Queenie because she asked if she could and they let her. Since then she has lived in Denver, Tucson, Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay area, and Utah. Her life includes being an airline stewardess when it was supposed to be glamorous; a model; actress; artist; interior designer; college adjunct faculty and creator/leader in Personal and Professional Development seminars, and spiritual instructor at the County Jail. She is the mother of eight amazing grown-up kids, and lives in the West surrounded by friends, family and stunning mountains and deserts, all of which make life beautiful and Very Good Indeed.
