Frank the Christmas Gargoyle began with a statue on a porch. His actual story unfolded on social media because of intolerance towards his looks. Frank’s story began a movement to help others and continues today. It has inspired people across the globe to make our world a better place. Frank the Christmas Gargoyle shares the importance of inclusion. It also sends a message that bullying is not okay. My career as an elementary teacher and reading specialist has been immersed in children’s literature. My love for children and books is now realized through Frank the Christmas Gargoyle.
This story began with a statue on a friend’s porch. The story went viral and has generated hope for so many through multiple fundraisers.
I want to continue to pay it forward to help those in need. Young children learn to play with everyone and need to know that bullying is not alright. Help me share Frank’s story of hope and acceptance so together we can make a difference in our world.
